Hamilton Wenham Elementary School Project Community Forum Jan. 22nd

The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District invites all community members to a special forum on Wednesday, January 22, at 6:30 PM in the High School Auditorium. This event will provide an in-depth update on the proposed elementary school project, offering insights into the latest developments, current cost estimates, designs, 3D renderings, and detailed information about Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) reimbursement rates.
This event will provide a clear vision of what the new facility could look like and how it aims to support the district's educational goals. This is a key opportunity for residents to learn about the project’s progress, cost, and ask to questions. The district values community feedback as part of its commitment to collaboration. Kindergarten Registration is OPEN!

The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District would like to invite all eligible incoming kindergarten families to register for the 2025/26 school year. To be eligible for kindergarten for the 2025/26 school year, your child must turn 5 years old prior to September 1, 2025. Registration information and instructions can be found on the HWRSD WEBSITE.
We will host a Kindergarten Parent Information Session on Tuesday, February 25th at 6:30 p.m. at Winthrop School. The Kindergarten Parent Information Session will include a general overview of kindergarten, the screening process, information on how to prepare for kindergarten, and a look at a typical day for a kindergartener. Two Seniors Selected as U.S. Presidential Scholar Nominees

Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School seniors Maddie Carey Meyette and Gian Gamelli have achieved a prestigious honor, being selected by Acting Commissioner Russell D. Johnston and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) as U.S. Presidential Scholar nominees from Massachusetts.
This recognition is among the highest national honors for high school students, awarded to those who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, and community involvement. Maddie and Gian were chosen for their outstanding accomplishments and their embodiment of the promise of greatness in America's youth.
As nominees, Maddie and Gian now have the opportunity to advance in the rigorous selection process that could ultimately lead to being named U.S. Presidential Scholars, a title awarded to only 161 students across the country annually.

MRMS Presents The SpongeBob Musical, Youth Edition on Jan. 16, 17, 18

When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. This musical has a powerful message about friendship, staying true to your convictions, believing in yourself, and embracing one another for who you are. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

HW Students Shine at DECA District 3 Career Development Conference

The Hamilton-Wenham DECA team delivered an outstanding performance at the DECA District Career
Development Conference with 108 students qualifying for the State Conference. The competition took
place on Wednesday, December 11, and Thursday, December 12, at the Doubletree by Hilton in

Hamilton-Wenham Friends of the Arts invites you to support the arts in the HWRSD by purchasing a seat in the Margaret D. Ferrini Dramatics Center at HWRHS. You can be part of this extraordinary program by naming a seat for your family, honoring the memory of someone special, or commemorating a special event like graduation, retirement, etc. Seats may be named in any of three designated sections, and prices range from $125 to $500.
